Martin Blomberg
AgTech Founder and Climate Innovator
Sweden
Accelerating biological breakthroughs to cut livestock emissions and protect farmer livelihoods worldwide.
Swedish entrepreneur Martin Blomberg is a biotechnology innovator dedicated to transforming global food systems. Inspired by his medical biotechnology research, Martin saw how slow discovery timelines left farmers reliant on outdated inputs with low efficacy and high environmental impact. Through his company Root bio, Martin is closing this gap.
Combining AI with automated robotics, Root bio compresses biological discovery from years down to weeks. Their feed additive cuts methane emissions from cows by 30% to 50% while improving feed efficiency across diverse farming systems, creating physical solutions at a fraction of traditional costs.
Martin champions low-cost, physical AI tools that deliver breakthroughs directly to low-resource settings. Partnering with global distributors to integrate these active ingredients into everyday feed, he advocates for giving smallholder farmers affordable access to the same caliber of biological innovation historically reserved for high-margin markets.

Prof. Ganesh Ramakrishnan
Multilingual AI Pioneer
India
Indian computer scientist Prof. Ganesh Ramakrishnan, Founding Director of BharatGen and Professor at IIT Bombay, is rebuilding how people interact with technology.

Prof. Ganesh Ramakrishnan
Multilingual AI Pioneer
India
Pioneering open, multimodal AI across 22+ Indic languages so communities can navigate public services, education, and healthcare in their own voice.
Indian computer scientist Prof. Ganesh Ramakrishnan, Founding Director of BharatGen and Professor at IIT Bombay, is rebuilding how people interact with technology. With global AI designed primarily for English, hundreds of millions of non-English speakers face barriers accessing vital healthcare, agricultural advisories, and public services.
To bridge this gap, Ganesh leads BharatGen, India’s government-backed, open-source foundation stack across 22+ Indic languages. Built using frugal AI techniques, his multimodal models process text, spoken dialects, and official paper documents. This enables farmers to ask crop questions in Marathi, health workers to interpret medical records, and families to decode complex forms without needing an expert.
Ganesh advocates for an “open rails” equity model—akin to India’s UPI payment system—where communities build and adapt their own AI rather than depending on foreign tools. Driven to meet people where they are, he is equipping communities to participate in shaping their digital future.

Debjani Ghosh
Technology Leader and Advocate for Human-Centric AI
India
Building human-centric AI strategies that expand access to knowledge, economic opportunity, and agency for frontline communities.
Indian technology leader Debjani Ghosh has spent nearly three decades championing technology as a driver of economic progress and societal well-being. Now leading the Frontier Tech Hub at NITI Aayog, Debjani’s goal is to ensure frontier technologies transform the lives of India’s 490 million informal workers—from street vendors to farmers—who are often invisible in global AI conversations and risk being left behind.
At NITI Aayog, she led the development of India’s first “AI for Inclusive Societal Development” roadmap to expand livelihoods, market access, and skills across the informal economy. Previously, as President of NASSCOM, she spearheaded FutureSkills PRIME, one of the world’s largest public-private digital skilling initiatives, with more than 3.4 million learners—over 40% of them women.
For Debjani, the true measure of technology is not how advanced it is, but whether it expands human capability, dignity and agency—especially for those who have historically had the least access. She believes trust must be the foundation of technology—because without trust, there can be no lasting transformation.

Chenai Chair
African Language AI Champion and Digital Rights Advocate
Zimbabwe
Building inclusive AI ecosystems by expanding African language datasets and centering community-led digital rights.
Zimbabwean digital policy leader and feminist researcher Chenai Chair has spent over a decade demystifying technology and unpacking digital power dynamics. With more than 2,000 African languages largely absent from today’s AI models, millions of people risk being cut off from life-changing knowledge and opportunities.
As Director of the Masakhane African Languages Hub— a name meaning ” we build together”—Chenai leads a continent-wide movement building open-source AI datasets. Uniting linguists, sociologists, and local communities, the Hub creates language data from the ground up, enabling AI models to operate in everyday spoken languages.
Chenai advocates for a human-centered equity vision where language inclusion, gender equity, and local capacity are embedded directly into technology design, rather than treated as secondary considerations. Driven by the power of collective action, she ensures African communities participate as creators and decision-makers, keeping AI grounded in local agency and shared dignity.

Hon. Dr. Bosun Tijani
Nigerian Tech Minister and AI Leader
Nigeria
A pioneering tech entrepreneur who co-founded pan-African innovation hub CcHUB, Nigerian Minister Dr. ‘Bosun Tijani is driving rapid digital transformation so Africa builds domestic AI rather than relying on tools designed far away.

Hon. Dr. Bosun Tijani
Nigerian Tech Minister and AI Leader
Nigeria
Building AI infrastructure and empowering local talent to shape Africa’s digital future.
A pioneering tech entrepreneur who co-founded pan-African innovation hub CcHUB, Nigerian Minister Dr. ‘Bosun Tijani is driving rapid digital transformation so Africa builds domestic AI rather than relying on tools designed far away. Moving with urgency, he believes leaders must act on AI with speed—warning that if nations do not move fast, they will be left behind as the window to shape tech equity closes.
Bosun is putting this vision into action through Nigeria’s National AI Strategy and the 3 Million Technical Talent program, which has already trained nearly 300,000 young people to build local datasets grounded in Nigerian realities. Through a national AI scaling hub, he is deploying solutions across health, agriculture, and education while expanding fiber-optic infrastructure nationwide.
Bosun advocates for an equity vision where local communities develop the expertise to shape how technology works for them. Driven by a responsibility to his children and the next generation, he is building a lasting foundation for Nigeria’s digital sovereignty.
